Here's a little about Guidry's!
Houston area businesses and industries have been enjoying Chad Guidry's Cajun fare for years! Guidry's Cruisin' Cajun Crawfish began as a boiling facility, and while the heart of the operation is still crawfish with people from all over to enjoy Guidry's mudbugs, the business has grown to offer a restaurant and full-service catering.
The restaurant offers full menu of home style Southern cooking, while area plants including ExxonMobile, Air Products, Shell and Oxy also call on Guidry's for their customized catering needs, which include boiled crawfish, fried catfish, shrimp, burgers, and po-boys. Guidry's has developed a following with repeat industrial clientele including Mobley Industrial Services, Turnaround Logistics, Air Products, Hagermeyer, Circuit Breakers International, Amato Line Handlers, and TWD Services...just to name a few.
"We keep the customer first, and with our hospitality, good customer base and great food, word travels fast!" said Guidry.
At BIC Alliance's sixth annual Industry Appreciation Crawfish Boil & Jambalaya Dinner, the Guidry's Cruisin' Cajun Crawfish team served 2,500 pounds of boiled crawfish and 100 pounds of jambalaya to the event's 1,000 guests.
"Being from Louisiana, and a crawfish lover, it has always been important to me to have the best crawfish at my annual customer appreciation event.", said Thomas Brinsko, President of BIC Alliance. "I can tell you that Guidry's will not disappoint. Chad Guidry and his team know how to do them right. Our guests wouldn't stop raving about how great the crawfish were."
" I also hosted a different event where Guidry's catered crawfish fettuccini. The food was piping hot and delicious. If you need some catering, and especially if you want some crawfish, you ought to give Guidry's a call!"
For Guidry, seeing others enjoy his cooking is the best part of being in business. As a child, he learned to cook with "the trinity-onions, celery, and bell peppers" as soon as he could hold a gumbo ladle.
"I always knew I wanted to own my own company and get to do in it what I love to do, which is cook!", explained Guidry. "I enjoy cooking my Cajun recipes for my friends, and family, and my biggest joy is watching people enjoy my cooking."
"We have had such great reception that we plan to expand in the near future with additional locations and catering services to include on-site fried food and special plate lunches designated for the plants."
There is a Cajun expression: There are three ways to become Cajun-- you're born into it, you marry into it, or you come through the backdoor like family. The staff at Guidry's Cruisin' Cajun Crawfish invites you to feel right at home like family as you experience their true Cajun fare in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Stop by the restaurant at 2113 Center St. in Deer Park, Tx to try what others have been enjoying for years. Catch your favorite games on the BIG screens as well as food and drink specials.
"The only thing better than our food is the good ole-fashioned Southern style hospitality," Guidry said. "I invite you and your guest to stop by and say, 'Hey sha!' It's the Cajun thing to do, and it's well worth the trip!"
